Ingredients:
- 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breasts
- 2 cups of crispy chow mein noodles
- 1 cup of grated cabbage
- 1 cup of carrots in juliana
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon of chopped ginger
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of corn
Addresses:
- Make the sauce:
– Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, chicken broth and corn in a bowl. Step aside. - Cook the chicken:
– Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
– Cook garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
– Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the frying pan. - Sauté the vegetables:
– In the same pan, add more oil if necessary.
– Add the cabbage, carrots and half the onions. Cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes. - Combine and finish:
– Return the chicken to the pan with vegetables.
– Pour sauce on top and stir.
– Add the chow mein noodles and stir until coated and hot. Cook for 2-3 minutes. - Serve:
– Decorate with the remaining onions. Serving it up hot!
